The Forensic Service Group (FSG)’s purpose is to provide timely high quality and efficient forensic services in collaboration with community, government and non-government partners to make Queensland safer. Delivering highly specialised services in support of the investigative functions of the QPS, FSG provide a diverse range of field and laboratory rapid quality assured forensic services to support frontline police in investigating, solving and stopping crime. FSG has a high level of participation in both national and international forums and committees to benchmark forensic standards and practices.
