Your contribution In this role you will work within a multidisciplinary team and provide high quality, culturally appropriate, child protection services to children, families and carers. The focus will be on identifying and supporting potential kin and community members to become approved carers and supporting connection to young people in out of home care. The team provides support and monitoring for approved carers both kin and foster, in addition to completing written assessments on potential carer applicants. The role will be required to establish productive partnerships in consultation with departmental staff, carers and other key stakeholders to meet the placement needs of children and young people.
