The Executive Officer provides highly specialised, proactive, and timely advice and organisational support services to the General Manager Royal Darwin Hospital, Director of Nursing and Midwifery Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals and Director of Medical Services at Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals so that the output and outcomes of the health service are met. Additionally, the position works with key senior staff within the office and across both portfolios to support initiatives aimed at improved coordination, integration, quality and effectiveness of the health care services to people in the Northern Territory.
