The Department of Health are excited to welcome applications for a Principal Internal Auditor to work within the Office of the Director-General! The Office of the Director-General and Department of Health is responsible for managing the public health system in Queensland, including: regulating health services; monitoring, developing and deploying programs to improve the health of Queenslanders; coordinating health services through Hospital and Health Services and non-government organisations; providing ambulance services via the Queensland Ambulance Service; and working with other state and national agencies on policies and programs to improve the health of Queenslanders.
