The Clinical Nurse is responsible and accountable for the direct delivery of safe, quality and clinically effective nursing care at an advanced level in the specialised area of development, mental health and wellbeing for infants, children (0-12) and their families. The Clinical Nurse will provide intake, assessments and treatment of infants, children and young people (and their carer networks) as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Consumer outcomes will be maximised by providing collaborative family-centred care whilst promoting safe and professional standards of nursing practice and conduct.
