The Nurse Manager Health Informatics provides high level nursing leadership within a multidisciplinary environment and is accountable for the provision of advanced practice nursing leadership across Children’s Health Queensland (CHQ). The position coordinates and supports the implementation and optimisation of the CHQ digital program of work, providing expert clinical advice on nursing and broader clinical workflows across CHQ, including participation in statewide paediatric forums, specialty groups, and engagement with clinical system application vendors. The role also leads change management activities to support the safe digitalisation of clinical workflows within the Health Informatics program.
