Caseworkers provide professional intervention to young offenders subject to youth justice intervention, with the aim of reducing re-offending. Mandatory requirements and qualifications It is a requirement of this role to have possession of a tertiary degree relevant to the role such as social work, behavioral science or social science, criminology, or other recognized degree. Please see further information below for specifics of mandatory role requirements.Positions based at this service centre will require regular travel into remote communities across the Cape York and Torres Strait Islands. Applicants interested in these remote travelling roles should expect that they will be travelling for 1-2 weeks a month (Monday to Friday). Travel allowances are paid while you are away
