The role of the Senior Service Support Officer is to support young people subject to a youth justice intervention who are affected by domestic and family violence as a victim, perpetrator or exposure in any way. The Senior Service Support Officer will work collaboratively as part of the High-Risk Team comprising of government and non-government partners and coordinate service delivery between the High-Risk Team and Mount Isa Youth Justice Service Centre to ensure required actions and referrals are undertaken in a timely and efficient manner.
