The Director, Performance and Improvement leads a critical command within Custodial Operations that drives performance, assurance, governance and continuous improvement across Queensland Corrective Services’ correctional centres. Reporting to the Deputy Commissioner, this role sets the divisional performance agenda, oversees planning and reporting frameworks, and provides strategic leadership in assurance, risk management, standards development and operational performance oversight. The position plays a key role in coordinating divisional responses to internal and external oversight bodies and in strengthening business intelligence to support data‑informed executive decision‑making. This role is suited to a senior leader with strong governance capability, sound judgement, and the ability to influence at executive levels.
