Provides a wide range of clinical services including health promotion, illness prevention, treatment and care, community development, and advocacy and rehabilitation on an isolated island with the immediate support of the Aboriginal Health Worker. Leads and manages the coordination of overall patient care and is responsible for service delivery on Cape Barren Island. Responds to on-island emergency and enact pre-hospital care to facilitate patient care and retrieval off-island with the assistance of General Practitioners on Flinders Island. Facilitates comprehensive health care for individuals and their community with the use of enhanced digital media (tele-health) and digital medical records to promote collaborative practice amongst the remote health team.
