The Automotive Technician provides a range of quality mechanical and technical support and advice to the region, relating to fleet and equipment. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team that is responsible for liaison with external service providers, contract maintenance, and the improvement of quality control processes relating to the regional fleet and equipment function. The Automotive Technician provides effective specialist fleet advice relating to repairs, ongoing maintenance, build quality, design and safety to minimise any adverse impact on the operational effectiveness of the regional fleet and to improve patient safety outcomes.
