As a Torres Strait Islander Police Liaison Officer, you will help build trust and understanding between the Queensland Police Service (QPS) & local communities on the islands. Key duties include improving QPS’s understanding of the local cultures, advising on culturally appropriate communication, community engagement & crime prevention strategies.
