The role of Principal Advisor, Strategic Projects and Oversight Liaison is responsible for supporting the coordination of responses and provision of strategic advice to internal and external oversight functions and inquiries and building effective partnerships across the oversight and advocacy sector that supports transparent and accountable youth detention service delivery. The team collates information in response to formal requests, responding to findings, recommendations and reports and maintains strong governance to support the efficient and effective tracking of recommendations. The role is also responsible for supporting internal governance and project committees, including the development and progression of key of system reform activities.
