Your role within Policy, Performance & First Nations will support the department to develop & implement housing and homelessness strategies & policies to support increased rates of home ownership for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples and drive housing and homelessness reform to deliver outcomes for First Nations peoples and communities. The work you will do helps someone every day, and that means the world to us You will provide high-level advice on, and contribute to developing strategies, policies, programs and plans to support the strategic development and delivery of First Nations Housing and Homelessness policies and programs, including home ownership initiatives. Occasional intrastate travel including overnight stays in remote communities for up to 4 days may be required. Access to some communities will be via small aircraft with minimal personal luggage.
