Step into a dynamic role as an Allied Health Assistant with the North West Speech Pathology team, where you’ll work across three busy and supportive sites - Mersey Community Hospital, Devonport Community & Health Services Centre, and North West Regional Hospital. In this role, no two days are the same: you’ll be helping adult inpatients and rehabilitation patients regain their communication and swallowing skills, while also working with preschool-aged children as they build theirs, all under the guidance of a Speech Pathologist. Alongside hands-on therapy support, you’ll keep things running smoothly behind the scenes by helping with administrative tasks that keep the whole service ticking. Success in this role comes from connecting easily with patients and their families, staying organised and on top of your time, and confidently navigating computer systems - bringing a mix of compassion, efficiency, and teamwork to everything you do.
