The Nurse Practitioner, within credentialed scope of practice provides nursing leadership, clinical governance, case management and complex clinical care and support for patients within Prison and Youth Detention Health Services (PYDHS), West Moreton Health for the Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST) Program. The role will provide leadership in clinical decision making to support and facilitate safe and efficient OST provision to prisoners who are the recipients of healthcare services. The role includes the key co-ordination functions of complex evidence-based care delivery across a continuum and education provision for patients and staff. Permanent full time opportunity!
