The redevelopment of Macquarie Point is an urban renewal project in central Hobart, which will see a former industrial site revitalised into an exciting mixed-use precinct incorporating a multipurpose stadium. This role is responsible for planning and delivering digital communications and events that support the Macquarie Point Development Corporation’s strategic objectives. Working as part of the Communications team, you will provide specialist leadership in the development and delivery of website, social media and visual content, alongside the planning and delivery of events and activations. All activity will align with broader communications strategies and project objectives, ensuring clear, consistent and accessible information for the community and stakeholders. The role requires a skilled and delivery-focused communications specialist who can manage and integrate multiple channels and outputs, apply professional judgement and contribute specialist input to strategic planning, evaluation and improvement of communications and engagement approaches.
