The Manager of Sentence Management is required to provide operational leadership and management to sentence management staff, both at individual locations and where required across broader regional hubs.The position is responsible for ensuring quality assurance and governance oversight of all tasks completed to ensure the lawful detention of prisoners, appropriate prisoner security classification and placement in accordance with their delegated authority, as well as putting appropriate plans in place for prisoner progression.Management of the work unit’s human resource functions is also required and this will include; managing staff performance, training and development, as well as analyse trends and workloads to ensure adequate resource allocation within their teams.
