As a Cyber Security Analyst you contribute to the Cyber Security team by playing a vital role in keeping DSDIP’s proprietary and sensitive information secure. The Cyber Security Analyst conducts security assessments, implements security platforms, ensures systems are up to date, monitors security information and event management (SIEM) and other systems for potential cyber events and/or vulnerabilities. The position works collaboratively with ITS Managers and stakeholders to design, implement and document effective security controls that mitigate risks and support business objectives. The ICT Cyber Security Analyst will also provide informed and risk-based advice to the Manager, Cyber Security on emerging threats, control effectiveness and opportunities to uplift the department’s cyber security posture.
