What you can expect in this role Your role within Policy, Performance and First Nations will support the department to develop and implement housing and homelessness strategies and policies to support service delivery and drive housing and homelessness reform to deliver outcomes for First Nations peoples and communities. First Nations Housing and Homelessness contribute to the delivery of aspects of Delivering a place to call home: Queensland’s plan to secure our housing foundations. You will lead the design, development and commissioning of programs and implementation of reform projects – with a specific focus on expediting capital delivery in First Nations communities – to drive progress towards commitments under the National Agreement on Closing the Gap including building the community controlled sector.
