OO5 Ranger position A permanent OO5 Ranger position is available at Pioneer Base, Slade Point, Mackay. Undertake diverse field and office-based work. Assist the Ranger in Charge to develop and implement the annual works program. Coordinate and manage a small team of rangers. Undertake work tasks focused predominantly on fire and pest management, plan and infrastructure maintenance. Help protect the natural environment, and plan for its future use. Work collaboratively with First Nations peoples to manage their spiritual lands. Are you up to the challenge?
