The purpose of this role is to lead, coordinate and enable the timely and effective implementation of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) and prehabilitation (ERAS +) pathways as part of the Healthcare Improvement Unit (HIU) SAFEST SurgiFLOW program. The ERAS+ Coordinator acts as a local clinical and improvement lead, working in partnership with surgical, anaesthetic, perioperative, allied health and patient flow teams, Hospital and Health Services (HHSs) and the HIU to support consistent, evidence-based perioperative care pathways that improve patient outcomes, patient experience, surgical flow and system performance.
