The Coastal and Islands Region covers a diverse landscape stretching from the world’s largest sand island, World Heritage-listed K’gari, (Fraser Island) to the Southern Bay Islands in the south. In this role, you’ll manage the Automatic Number Plate Recognition System (ANPRS) and oversee compliance actions and data management. Key responsibilities include analysing system data, identifying infringements under the RAM Act, conducting investigations, managing data storage, and preparing reports. You’ll also provide expert advice and guidance to the team, addressing escalated or complex compliance issues and supporting the development of solutions for approval. This role is vital in ensuring effective compliance and protecting our unique environments.
