Your contribution The Principal Contract Officer supports the implementation of the contract lifecycle from contract set-up to contract close-out. The Contract Officer is responsible for: • strategic contract management, including negotiating, establishing and managing contracts; • market analysis to inform procurement strategies and ensure best value for money; participation in end-to-end procurement processes; • establishing productive and respectful relationships with a diverse range of suppliers; and • collaborate with regional colleagues and other departmental business units to ensure contracts are effectively aligned with operational needs, as well as broader departmental priorities and initiatives.
