We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic and proactive lawyer to work with senior legal officers and principal legal officers, primarily advising and representing QCS in relation to disciplinary matters involving employees of the agency who have been subject to ethical standards investigations.Reporting to the Director, Workplace Law, this Legal Officer role will primarily advise and represent QCS in relation to provision of legal advice and representation for QCS in respect of workplace law including: • disciplinary matters involving QCS employees who have been subject to ethical standards investigations; • workplace health and safety; • industrial relations; • discrimination; and • other matters related to employment.
