You will work with diverse children and families facing many different challenges. The role often includes handling high-risk situations such as domestic and family violence, complex mental health issues, substance use, and suicide. To deliver culturally appropriate, practical prevention and early intervention support services to families utilising a range of strategies including the interpretation of cultural issues, consultation, support and advice, to strengthen the family unit and assist in the diversion of families from the statutory child protection system.
