Laidley District State School is seeking an experienced Community Education Counsellor to join our school community, supporting students, families and the wider school community to strengthen cultural connections and improve educational outcomes.We are looking for someone with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to work effectively with students, families and staff. A results-focused mindset, personal drive, integrity and a strong commitment to supporting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students to succeed will be highly valued.This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.8 FTE), 58 hours per fortnight. This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest, and any extension to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.
