The role of Communication Manager is to provide strategic and operational communication advice for a range of initiatives across the various portfolios of work managed in the department.As the Communication Manager you will lead a team of communication professionals that coordinate external communication projects and campaigns. This may involve developing and implementing integrated communication strategies and campaigns, providing advice on marketing and communication issues, providing strategic advice regarding online content and information architecture, developing print and digital communication materials, and liaising with various program areas and departmental stakeholders to contribute to the departments’ strategic goals and objectives. You will need to have strong team management, strategic planning, communication, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
