You will provide professional prosecution services, including the provision of legal advice to members of the Service on matters before the Magistrates, Childrens and Coroners Courts. This position requires the supervision of subordinate staff. Prosecutors are responsible for police related matters in the Mackay Magistrates Court District in addition to servicing the Magistrates Court at Sarina. The Magistrates Courts of Bowen and Proserpine are serviced by a satellite office at Proserpine, attached to Mackay Police Prosecution Corps.Refer to the role description for more information.
