Do you have experience with High Performance Computing? We are looking for a system administrator to join our small team to support our high performance computing (HPC) clusters & associated multi-petabyte mass storage systems.The HPC systems, on our Linux & Windows clusters, support scientists in the Dept of the Environment, Tourism, Science & Innovation to do activities ranging from satellite image processing, climate science, hydrologic modelling and a lot more environmental research and machine learning activities. Science groups also make use of technologies including containers, Jupyter notebooks & DevOps incorporating continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD). The role will focus on operations and implementation of on-premise hardware and software, networks & associated cloud-based infrastructure relating to hybrid integration & cloud-burst capabilities.
