The Senior Cultural Adviser provides strategic cultural advice, supports culturally appropriate programs and services, and strengthens relationships with Elders, community organisations and key stakeholders.By promoting cultural safety, supporting reintegration, and enhancing engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, the role contributes to more effective service delivery and helps address the over‑representation of First Nations peoples in the criminal justice system.This position plays a vital part in embedding cultural knowledge, supporting staff capability, and fostering respectful, culturally informed practices across QCS.
