Firearms Services work in partnership with the State’s frontline police, fire and emergency services personnel to deliver a safe, secure and resilient Tasmania through providing high quality administration of the Firearms Act 1996, Firearms Regulations 2016 and some weapons related functions under the Police Offences Act 1935. The Project Officer will be required to undertake project related activities to plan, coordinate and deliver a range of projects and strategic initiatives in line with the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM) business priorities
