Provide leadership, coordination, and policy direction to the Indigenous Essential Services Team in development and implementation of remote Aboriginal community water supply improvements. The Indigenous Essential Services Team implements and progresses remote water related actions as part of the Indigenous Essential Services Program. A key focus is access to safe, secure drinking water and actions which align to Closing the Gap. The role provides oversight and coordination of IES-related capital program activities, including Australian Government funded projects. Selection will be made at the SAO2 or SP2 level depending on the qualifications of the successful applicant. This vacancy may be available in either Alice Springs or Darwin subject to negotiation with the successful applicant.
