Cairns School of Distance Education are seeking a flexible and collaborative team player to fill the role of Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities. As a vital member of our facilities team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our school environment, facilities and outdoor spaces are well maintained, aesthetically pleasing, and conducive to the overall well-being of our students. If you have a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to problem solving, and a commitment to fostering positive educational experiences, we would like to hear from you. This is a temporary full-time position until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.
