The State Schools Nursing Service provides clinical assistance to build school staff's capacity to safely support students with health needs to attend and participate at school and realise their full potential. The position requires the provision of health assessment, health plan development, relevant training, ongoing supervision and support of school staff. The team/s the clinical nurse works with may consist of the principal, therapists, registered nurses and school staff. If you have varied clinical experience, enjoy a challenge and working with children and schools, this is the job for you.The position is based in the Mackay area, although further opportunities may become available across Central Qld Region.This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.60FTE), 45.6 hours per fortnight.
