Join us as a Senior Policy Officer in the Office of the Great Barrier Reef & World Heritage, where you’ll work with a team of environmental policy professionals and play a key role in shaping policies and strategies that safeguard the health of the Reef for future generations. We’re seeking a Senior Policy Officer to provide high quality secretariat support for key advisory committees to inform review & implementation of the Reef 2050 Long Term Sustainability Plan, while also conducting research, preparing high-level advice & developing strategies that influence key decisions and emerging issues. Work closely with Traditional Owners, scientists, government agencies and community groups to deliver innovative solutions to complex issues.
