Mandatory qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Heritage Management, Archaeology, Anthropology, Architecture, Law or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Director-General, Department of Transport and Main Roads, along with a current Class C driver’s licence. Relevant experience in cultural heritage management within infrastructure delivery is desirable. The role requires the ability to conduct cultural heritage assessments and prepare reports, management plans and agreements aligned with departmental requirements, as well as participate in fieldwork such as surveys, monitoring, inspections and audits. It also involves engaging and managing consultants including developing briefs, procurement and financial reporting. This position can be located in Warwick or Toowoomba.
