The Coastal and Islands Region covers a diverse landscape stretching from the world’s largest sand island, World Heritage-listed K’Gari, to the Southern Bay Islands in the south. Our dedicated Technical Support staff make a meaningful impact to the sustainability and conservation of the protected area’s natural and cultural values of our breathtaking coastal islands. As an Assistant Principal Ranger (Tech Support) you will work in a stunning and inspiring environment while actively participating in efforts to safeguard the beauty and heritage of this unique region with our First Nation partners. Support and lead a team of like-minded individuals to develop and implement sustainable conservation strategies and management plans, lead dedicated teams of specialists in the fields of management planning, pest management, research, biodiversity and estate management.
