In this role you will design, co-ordinate, implement and evaluate vocational training programs and related activities to meet the needs of the offender population within the facility. This position will contribute to the proposed objectives and outcomes of the Queensland Government’s Delivering for Queensland plan, National Agreement on Closing the Gap, Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody, Better Justice Together: Queensland’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Justice Strategy 2024-2031, as well as the organisation’s own 2030 Strategic Plan.There will be cultural support available for the incumbent through Murridhagun Cultural Centre.
