The Principal Advisor (Rollingstock) is responsible for providing specialist technical advice in operations and maintenance for the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) and other projects across the Rail Division project portfolio, including ensuring that assets are ready for operations in accordance with their delivery schedules and risks associated with successful transition-to-operations are adequately mitigated. The position will undertake technical activities throughout the different phases of the program, including supporting the Manager, operating as the key interface between the State and the Contractor and Operator, supporting discrepancy resolution, and developing and reviewing reports for stakeholders on contract performance.
