The Joint Management (JM) Program, where this position is located, currently manages 19 Indigenous Management Agreements (IMAs) within the National Park Cape York Peninsula Aboriginal Land (CYPAL) framework. This role supports the JM Team with high level overall finance and project administration support, including financial governance, compliance with departmental procurement processes and budget management. This work extends to include management support for the JM Team of the IMA's in relation to the Park Activity Agreements (budget framework). Additionally, the role is responsible for providing secretariat support to the Cape York Peninsula Regional Protected Area Ministerial Advisory Committee, and is responsible for coordinating meetings, preparing high standard agendas, minute taking and dispatching and the coordination of actions resulting from the minutes.
