Drive Queensland’s destiny into the 2040s by leading the strategic regional planning program to deliver 13 plans by 2028 with local government, utilities and industry. We need an Executive Director with unwavering commitment to strategic land use planning, proven in building productive relationships and problem solving to secure progressive strategies. Oversee policy integration, modelling, scenarios and public consultation to create robust 20-year regional plans. You will deliver to time, high quality, place-based strategies for the State’s interests including housing supply and economic growth. Work closely with the State Planner and colleagues to shape departmental direction, strengthen culture, build capability and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
