The Principal Legal Officer is responsible for providing high-quality legal services and conducting litigation on behalf of the Health Ombudsman. The Principal Legal Officer deals with the more complex and urgent matters, provides guidance and mentoring to more junior legal officers, and assists the Directors in the Legal Services Division in managing the team.
