The Passenger Rollingstock and Signalling Branch is responsible for delivering and managing rollingstock and signalling projects that are innovative, integrated, and accessible - ensuring South East Queensland’s rail network meets growing demand. To support this growth, the Queensland Government has launched the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), a long-term initiative designed to meet increasing rail transport needs across the region over the next decade. The program will play a key role in supporting South East Queensland’s population growth, economic development and major infrastructure initiatives such as Cross River Rail and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
