The Wildlife and Threatened Species Operations branch leads a state-wide, tenureblind program to protect, conserve, and manage the sustainable use of Queensland's protected wildlife, through the review and development of policy and legislation, education and community engagement, partnerships, compliance management, and operational service delivery.The Manager Southern Wildlife Operations is responsible for providing leadership and direction to facilitate sustainable management of protected wildlife through engagement and regulation strategies. The role provides strategic direction and operational management to the Southern Wildlife Operations team and its programs, high level advice and support to the Director Southern Wildlife and Koala Operations and is responsible for ensuring key projects and initiatives are delivered according to priorities, timelines, and targets.
