The Contract Officer supports the implementation of the contract lifecycle from contract set-up to contract close-out. The role is responsible for undertaking market analysis, negotiating and managing contracts, and establishing productive and respectful relationships with a diverse range of suppliers to meet the needs of vulnerable individuals, families and communities. It is a genuine occupational requirement that this position be filled by an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. One of the referees should be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person who can attest to the applicant’s background, knowledge, skills and experience as they relate to the cultural capabilities.
