Queensland Corrective Services Academy provides education, training, and professional development to staff across the state. As the Registered Training Organisation for QCS, the Academy builds the capability of a high‑performing, multidisciplinary workforce. By enhancing core correctional practices and applying evidence‑based research, the Principal Adviser supports the ongoing learning and development of Community Corrections and Specialist Operations staff within QCS. The position drives innovative approaches to improve practice, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery through collaboration and a strong commitment to quality. This contribution directly supports behaviour change, reduces recidivism, and helps shape safer communities through correctional training excellence.
