In this role you will be responsible for assessment of offending risk and need, development and enactment of an engagement plan in accordance with the individual’s assessed risk and need to improve rehabilitation, reintegration and/or community supervision outcomes for incarcerated individuals. The Senior Case Manager SMS will use a whole-of-sentence planning approach applying the principles of Risk Need Responsivity (RNR) to case management and will be responsible for coordinating activities to support individuals’ readiness for release and transition back to the community.This position is the primary case management contact for persons in custody and acts as a conduit between the incarcerated individual and key stakeholders such as custodial officers, offender development, sentence management, parole board and community corrections staff.
