Our team works to keep our community safe by enacting systems to effectively regulate the acquisition, possession, use and disposal of registered firearms and weapons as envisaged by the Weapons Act 1990 (Qld). Through our work we enable people with a genuine need and reason to own and operate a weapon. You will be responsible as an Authorised Officer (delegate) under the Weapons Act 1990 in determining applications for licences and permit to acquire firearms in accordance with legislative requirements.Please refer to role profile for full details.
