The Clinical Director, Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine provides strategic and clinical leadership to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred perioperative care across Central Queensland Health. This role leads service planning, contemporary models of care, and performance improvement and requires advanced clinical expertise in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine, with responsibility for inpatient, outpatient, on-call, and outreach services. This 3 year position champions clinical governance, quality and safety, including audit, risk management, incident review, medico-legal advice, and accreditation compliance as it builds and sustains high-performing multidisciplinary teams through effective workforce management, education, and professional development.
